About Donna Zazulak
Perfectly fitting the definition of a “go-getter”, Donna Zazulak has over 30 years of experience in a broad range of industries including media, sales, sponsorships, event planning, fashion and retail management and has been a trailblazer and role model for her community.
For the past 4 years Donna has been the President of her own company, Zazulak Marketing & Communications Inc. Zazulak Marketing & Communications provides marketing and communications services, produces live events, and delivers marketing solutions for retailers, corporations, and non-profit organizations.
Donna wrote a weekly fashion column for the Edmonton Sun Newspaper for over 7 years. She was an Edmonton-area correspondent for Elle Canada Magazine. Donna was a radio sales associate with Standard Broadcasting
(now Astral Media) for over 7 years and was Fashion Director for West Edmonton Mall for 7 years in the 1980’s.
She was also a Retail Sales manager for Nygard International, in charge of its 20 retail locations in Edmonton, Calgary and Saskatchewan and organizing major fashion events in Toronto and Winnipeg.
Donna uses her vast business experience, talents and professional contacts as the foundation for her activities in Edmonton’s charitable community, including a significant leadership role with the Canadian Women in Communications for over 8 years, serving in numerous capacities including Chair of the Edmonton regional board. Donna served in a volunteer role with the YWCA for over 9 years, and for 8 of those years she chaired the “Tribute to Women of Distinction” Gala.
Donna is an immensely respected woman in the Edmonton community and the Edmonton media. She is a woman that influences media, elevates professionalism in the world of business and uses that reputation to assist individuals, companies and not-for-profit organizations through media and public awareness.
